Our Process

1- Initial Contact & Phone Consultation

Most projects begin when a homeowner contact us using the website contact form or a phone call.

We prefer phone conversation as this is the best way to understand what the home is hoping to accomplish. We ask questions and discuss in detail to make sure the project is something we can realistically help with before scheduling a site visit.

During our conversation we discuss about, scope, goals, any idea or questions the homeowner may have. once we have fully understood the project and it is something for which we are a good fit, we book an in-home consultation for further discussions.

2- In-home Consultation

During the consultation one of our team members carefully review the space, take measurements, and discuss goal of the renovation project. We also offer suggestions where we feel appropriate and discuss any potential changes that might increase long term value, design and functionality of the space. we take notes and photos so that we can fully understand what needs to be done for successful completion.

This allows us to ensure accuracy of scope, materials and labor calculations. Goal for in home consultation is to fully understand ideas, goals, and true scope of work so that we can provide an accurate estimate.

3- Written Estimate and Project Planning

Based on our discussion, we prepare detailed written estimate which clearly outlines scope of work and pricing. We email estimate including details which could help homeowner better understand our pricing rationale.

Depending on the project, we provide design details, drawings or renderings, and material samples.

once we receive an approval for materials and design, we make necessary adjustments to our estimate and provide any revised estimate if needed. We understand every person have a budget in mind and we try our best to stay within the ideal budget. 

4- Project Scheduling and Contract signing

once we receive final approval for estimate, we schedule the project and start preparing contract. A deposit of approximately 15-30% is required to secure project start date.

We work with owners and any involved parties to make sure contract is prepared keeping their needs and requirements in mind.

Contract includes approved estimate, any drawings, progressed based payment schedule and supplementary clauses safeguarding interests of all parties. 

5- Construction Phase 

Once construction has begun, management is present on job site every day. we coordinate with sub-contractors and schedule them accordingly.

We assign a dedicated point of contact for each project to help prevent any miscommunications. we make sure every detail is communicated properly and we are always available to answer any questions or to address any concerns.

6- Project Completion and Warranty
As we approach project completion, we provide a checklist to homeowners for review and make sure everything has been completed as agreed.

Our goal is to deliver a project which is aesthetically pleasing and built according to the code using best practices. We stand behind our work and provide a 1-year workmanship warranty.

We provide project completion documentation and close the project.
